Those who are gifted with an unending lifespan are gifted with an endless abundance of time to chart their goals and plans.

They are never idle, though they may appear to be.

Always they have something—no—several somethings—on the go.

Unicron always had several somethings on the go. This time was no different than the last.

The Autobot incept was not the only thing on his mind.

A new, tantalising idea had surfaced. One which appealled to him in a manner others would never expect it to.

And the more he thought of his idea, the more he liked it. The more he wanted to undertake it.

But what he needed was time to formulate it properly.

—no shortage of that—

He also needed subjects to experiment on.

—there were plenty of those—

And, if necessary, sparks to implant, should his subjects prove to be less-than-pliable.

—he had plenty of those, too—

Yes. If all this went according to plan he'd have a new army at his disposal.

The multiverse would crumble like rusted iron.

The Void would be restored.

He had time.

Plenty of it.
